(If you phone for reservations, instead of making them online, you must ask for the World Social Science, or WSSA, conference rate; if you do not ask, you will be charged the regular rate).
The last day to reserve a room at the conference rate is Monday, March 10, 2025. After the "last day", the regular rate, which will be quite a bit more at that point, will be charged.

Standard Wi-Fi access rate of $14.95 USD/day is included in the price of the room if you book your room the WSSA.
Hotel room rates are subject to occupancy tax, currently 15.6%, and a $2.00 per room, per night Tourism Assessment Fee in effect at the time of check-out. Taxes are subject to a change without notice.
Please Note: If you choose NOT to stay at the Sheraton Grand Seattle for the WSSA Conference and would like to have access to the hotel Wi-Fi, you will need to pay $14.95 USD/day at the front desk.
Because all nearby hotels are will most like be fully booked, due to several other large events taking place in Seattle at the same time, the hotel expects that there will be persons unconnected with WSSA in any way who will attempt to "steal" some of the rooms from the WSSA block of rooms. Therefore we urge you to make your reservations as early as possible, to ensure that there will be enough rooms for all of our attendees.
